Henry Isaacson lives the definition of service; service to his country and community.   He is a true blue, Tar Heel. After receiving his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Isaacson served in the United States Air Force as a first lieutenant. Following active duty he held the rank of captain in the USAF Reserves.

As a civilian he has been active in the legal profession and Greensboro community. Professionally, he has been recognized as one the Triad’s Most Influential People by The Business Journal and listed in Super Lawyers (2006) and The Best Lawyers in America, 2007-2010, and included in the Business North Carolina Legal Elite (2007). He has served as Arbitrator, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina; and on the North Carolina Bar Association Public Information Committee. In 2010, the North Carolina Bar Association presented him the Citizen Lawyer Award. He has also received the Centennial Award for Outstanding and Exemplary Community Service by the NC Bar Association in conjunction with the Greensboro Bar Association.

In addition to numerous awards specific to several organizations, Isaacson was awarded the Out Standing Triad Citizen Award by Duke Power and Father of the Year by the American Diabetes Association; inducted into the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame; and received the NCCJ Brotherhood Citation Award.

In the interest of aviation, in addition to the First Flight Foundation, his involvement includes the Airport’s Council International, the Piedmont Triad Airport Authority, and North Carolina Aeronautics Council.
